Program Description The Master of Science in Kinesiology and Wellness degree is a professional degree to enhance graduate students' academics and professional background in the areas of health and exercise science. The Master of Science in Kinesiology and Wellness provides this opportunity for health professional such as dieticians, nurses, physical therapists; wellness professionals such as fitness instructors or exercise specialists; and performance professionals such as coaches and teachers to continue their graduate studies. Each student will be advised on combinations of courses from the following lists according to his or her professional goals. This flexibility is necessary in order to manage the curriculum for a variety of students, including those in teacher education, health professions, exercise specialists, and sport. Students' program plans will be developed during the first semester of enrollment and will require approval by all KHS Graduate Faculty and forwarded to the Dean of the graduate school.
