Electronic Media Electronic Media students study both audio and video technologies and formats, past, present and future, with an emphasis on digital technology. Students may choose to focus their efforts on one technology, or gain competence in several media. Students have ample access to studio facilities, including a modern digital television studio, and have the opportunity to actively participate in programming WCWP, our FM radio station, and PTV, our campus cable TV station. In addition to 'hands-on' experience, students study the influence of electronic media on our society and learn the ethical and legal responsibilities of broadcast, cable, and satellite operations. Internships at radio and tv stations, and cable services as well the three major networks, offer the student invaluable "real world" experience.
