Engineering - Lock Haven University

Engineering from Lock Haven University is a Campus Bachelor Engineering General degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. This five-year dual degree is begun at Lock Haven University with three years of pre-engineering and general education courses and completed at an approved engineering institution (2 years). Currently, LHU has a cooperative agreement with the University Park and Behrend campuses of Penn State University. After completing the three years at LHU, you may opt to attend one of these schools or transfer to another engineering school for the next two years. After completing the five-year program, you will receive a bachelor of arts or bachelor of science in physics from Lock Haven University and a bachelor of science in engineering from the final school. If you opt for Penn State under the LHU agreement, you may choose one of the following engineering specialties: Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering Agricultural & Biological Engineering Materials Science & Engineering Engineering Science Chemical Engineering Industrial Engineering Bioengineering Environmental Systems Civil Engineering Nuclear Engineering Mechanical Engineering Geo-Environmental Engineering Mining Engineering Computer Engineering Petroleum & Natural Gas Engineering Career Opportunities The demand for engineers remains robust in most parts of the country.
