Through the course work, the field experiences, and a student internship, students will be equipped to become an effective leading model in church's educational ministry as minister of Christian education, director of educational ministry, leader of small group ministry, or director of discipleship ministry. Ministry (Career) Opportunities: Advanced higher education (M.C.E. or M.R.E. and Ed.D.), Christian education, Christian educational and teaching ministries of various age groups (including children and youth), small group ministries, urban ministry (young adult or campus ministry), family ministry, mentoring and discipleship ministry, and other parachurch organizations. Program Objectives: Upon graduation, students will be able to: Demonstrate the necessary spiritual and personal dispositions and leadership skills to lead an educational ministry in the local church or parachurch settings. Develop, design, and oversee various educational ministry models and programs appropriate for different age groups to help them attain Christian spiritual formation. Lead church's educational ministries as well as develop and train leaders of various educational ministries through mentoring, counseling, and discipleship.
