A degree in chemistry provides excellent preparation for dental school, medical school, veterinary school, or graduate work in biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science or materials science. The Department of Chemistry offers two degrees. The Bachelor of Science program is more challenging; it's recommended for students who plan to pursue graduate study in chemistry or biochemistry.
