Nursing Assistant from Lee County High Tech Center Central is a Campus Certificate Clinical Nurse degree that prepares you for a Nursing career. The purpose of this program is to prepare students for employment as nursing assistants/nurse aides in nursing homes, hospitals, and patients' homes. Successful completion of this program prepares the student for employment as a nursing assistant after passing a certification exam in accordance with Florida Statutes 464. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program teaches the student direct patient care , such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and assistance with mobility.
