Teacher Paraprofessional from Lansing Community College is a Campus Associate Teaching degree that prepares you for a Education career. In addition, the teacher parapro must be able to communicate effectively with parents, students and teachers, implement behavior management techniques, and recognize a range of special needs. The Early Childhood specialty focuses on children 0-5 years while the Elementary specialty focuses on ages 6-12 years, and the Special Education specialty includes working with those with disabilities 3 years through young adult.
