Students may earn college credit, leadership experience, fully funded scholarships and even qualify as second lieutenant officer leaders in the Army , Army National Guard or the Army Reserve after graduation. Army ROTC Focus The primary focus of Army ROTC is to develop leadership capabilities in students and to train future leaders for the Army and the American public. The NEPA Battalion was recently recognized as being one of the top 15% of all ROTC programs in the country. Leadership training is divided into three categories; Classroom, Hands on and Physical Fitness. In addition to the on campus opportunities there are also numerous local field training exercises, Active Army military schools as well as active duty leadership opportunities and Army internships and training with industry. Army ROTC Benefits Army ROTC offers Fully Funded Academic Scholarships to include all books and fees for students interested in careers in the Army. Any student may take advantage of the leadership training in Army ROTC with no obligations for the first two years.
