Radiologic Technology from John Wood Community College is a Campus Associate Radiology degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. Graduates of the radiologic technology program are prepared to perform a variety of functions in radiology departments of hospitals, clinics and other health care facilities. John Wood Community College, in cooperation with Blessing Hospital, offers the Radiologic Technology AAS degree . Enrollment is limited. Students accepted by the Blessing School of Radiologic Technology complete 8 credit hours of science specialty courses and 16 credit hours of general education courses at JWCC. Upon successful completion of the requirements of the Blessing School of Radiologic Technology, 40 credit hours will be given in transfer to complete degree requirements. The computer competency requirement is completed as part of the 40 hours transferred from Blessing Hospital. Courses taken at Blessing Hospital for the RT program are considered as ?in residence?; however, the student must be enrolled as a JWCC student.
