Admission Requirements Requirements for admission to the cosmetology course offered at International City Beauty College , are a high school graduation diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate or he/she must be beyond the compulsory age of school attendance (16 years old). Anyone applying for admission without a high school diploma or GED must demonstrate the ability to benefit from training by satisfactorily completing the School A T B test prior to acceptance. Requirements for the admission to the Cosmetology Instructor course are a high school graduation diploma or General Education Development (GED) Certificate, a current Georgia Master Cosmetologist License and one year of work experience at the master level. Entrance Dates Day and Evening Classes will start every other Tuesday for newly enrolled students. Class Schedule COSMETOLOGY/COSMETOLOGY INSTRUCTOR Full Time Five (5) days per week - Tuesday through Saturday 9AM-4PM (12 months). Part Time Four (4) days per week - Tuesday through Thursday 4PM-9:30PM and Saturday 9AM-5PM (15 months). Individual schedule adjustments (due to work/child care) can be arranged. The time required to complete the course depends upon the course, individual students schedule, previous training, application, etc . Classes are in continues session during the year except for the following holidays: New Years Day / Independence Day / Thanksgiving Day / Christmas Day Financial Aid To find out about your financial aid qualification you must schedule an appointment, bring your income information for the previous and current year (tax Return, W2Forms, etc.) and complete the U.S. Department of Education's Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applicants will be informed by the school of aid awarded as soon as possible thereafter. Veterans Benefits International City Beauty College is an approved institution to train veterans. Graduation International City Beauty College requires that, for a student to be eligible for the State Board examination, the student must have completed the prescribed number of credit hours as well as the required hours of attendance, and have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate . A diploma is issued to the student after he/she has met the graduation requirements and has successfully completed (with a passing grade) the Schools Final Examination.
