Program is tailored to meet the Indiana Office of Educator Licensing and Development (OELD), both content and developmental in the areas of knowledge, performance, and dispositions, Interstate New Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (INTASC) Standards and National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) Standards. The initial teacher education program is fully accredited at the state (OELD) and national (NCATE) level and licensure programs have been approved by the Indiana Department of Education . Technology integration throughout the program, to include the development of teacher candidate electronic portfolios, aligned to Division of Education, Indiana OELD and NCATE standards. Upon completion of all degree and program requirements, students will be eligible to apply to the Indiana Department of Education Office of Educator Licensing and Development (OELD) for licensure in Elementary Education.
