The entry-level Athletic Training Program consists of two divisions of study: The preprofessional component provides students with basic study, introductory course work, and clinical observation in athletic training. The professional component is competitive, and is contingent upon students meeting specific requirements. Typically, students who complete the preprofessional component with a grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) are accepted into the professional component.
