Students must pass the entry level certification (CRT) examination prior to attempting the advanced level registry (RRT) exams. The registry exam is comprised of written and clinical simulation exam. The RSPT Program's curriculum is designed to orient students to entry-and advanced-level respiratory care as it relates to the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and prevention of cardiopulmonary abnormalities. Courses reflect the Entry/Advanced Practitioner Certification/Registry content as summarized in the NBRC's composite examination matrices. Advancedstanding credit may be awarded for relevant education and/or experience.
