Our already broad offering of courses has been substantially expanded with new courses such as: Introduction to Global Studies, Religion & Politics, Law & Society, Global Political Economy, International Law & Organizations, and Contemporary Topics in Political Theory. Students have unparalleled opportunities for applying their interests in political science outside the classroom. In addition to the the highly-regarded Washington Honors Semester, the department offers individualized internship programs in Africa and South America, the student-led Model United Nations program, local campaign management internships, and a Wilderness Politics summer term in Colorado.
