Program Objectives Students who successfully complete the Biology Program will: Cognitive (knowledge) 1. understand the fundamental facts, principles, processes, and systems in the natural sciences. 2. understand the use of the scientific method, in context with other philosophies of inquiry 3. have advanced understanding of the biological sciences, with emphasis on integrating concepts across the breadth of subject areas, including cellular and molecular biology, organismal biology, ecology and evolution, and the diversity of life.
