Several different types of software will be used, such as HTML (HyperText Markup Language), Netscape Composer, a little Macromedia DreamWeaver and some JavaScript. Effective use of the Internet will be explored. Students will complete hands-on applications. Web Page Design II Second-year students cover advanced HTML, some JAVA scripting, Macromedia Studio MX 2004 (including DreamWeaver, Flash, Fireworks, and Freehand), and will explore Webmaster certification. Students will also have a part in keeping the school district web site up-to-date and improving the web site. The second-year students will also be assigned a project where they will need to create or update a web site for a business or community organization. Job Opportunities This is a growing field.
