The Cosmetology Program is a 1250-hour curriculum open to both secondary and adult students. It can be completed in three years. During the first year, the program is split 50-50 between theory and application. The second year incorporates about 40% theory and 60% application. During the third year, 30% of the program is theory and 70% application. Another option is the specialty Nail Technology Program, a 315 hour curriculum. This program can be taken independently and can be completed in one year. This program prepares you to be a licensed manicurist. All cosmetology programs are set by the state. If a student does not wear the designated uniform or have his/her kit for class, the student will not be able to work in the clinical setting and will not receive hours for that day.
