Using computer software, they develop the layout and design of magazines, newspapers, advertisements, logos, and signs. Graphic designers develop promotional displays and marketing brochures for products and services, annual reports, advertising campaigns and develop signage systems or environmental graphics for business and government. Students will learn effective use of color, typography and the basic elements and principles of design to make effective layouts, which meet industry standards.
