Avionics Technology from Georgia Middle College - Aviation Campus is a Campus Associate Aeronautical engineering degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. The Avionics Technology (AT) degree program prepares students for careers in avionics maintenance and repair. The program philosophy stresses a combination of knowledge, skills, and practical experience in accordance with Federal Aviation and Federal Communications Regulations. Upon successful completion, a student will be prepared for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) oral, practical, and written examinations for Airframe certification, Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Ground Radio Operating License (GROL), and the National Center for Aircraft Technician Training (NCATT) Avionics certification exam. Once certificated by the FAA, FCC, and NCATT a graduate is qualified to perform duties and responsibilities of an Airframe and Avionics Technician.
