The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Georgia Tech offers excellent interdisciplinary training for the next generation of polymer chemists. The BS in Chemistry (polymer option) consists of a fundamental chemistry courses combined with polymer science and engineering coursework offered jointly by the Schools of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, and Polymer , Textile and Fiber Engineering. . Graduates of the BS in Chemistry (polymer option) are equipped to pursue successful careers in research, continue their education with graduate studies in chemistry or allied disciplines, or take positions in industry or governmental organizations.
