The EMT course meets the standards of the US Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum for EMT-Basic and the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services. Successful course completion prepares students for the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services certification process but does not guarantee certification.
