In addition to the University computer resources, three networked PC labs are available for instructional purposes and for students' use for practice and experimentation. In addition to the coursework, students are strongly encouraged to acquire work experience through summer internships, part-time employment, and computer lab work. Internship opportunities are widely available through the Career Center. Students who plan to major in computer information systems are encouraged to start the program in their sophomore year.
