In addition, the masonry and carpentry courses meet the classroom and lab activities training requiremnts for the Department of Labor masonry and carpentry apprenticeship training programs. Hands-on building activities represent approximately 60% of class time in most Construction Technology courses. Students in this program are required to provide some of their own personal protective equipment and a limited number of hand tools, in addition to texts for labs.
