Practical Nursing from Franklin County Practical Nursing Program is a Campus Certificate Nursing Education degree that prepares you for a Nursing career. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral member of the health care team. LPNs work under the direction of the registered nurse (RN), physician, or dentist in providing nursing care to clients. The Franklin County Practical Nursing Program, affiliated with Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC), is a one-year full time program. This program provides the theory and clinical learning experience for the graduate to prepare for the NCLEX-PN licensing exam. A passing score on this exam allows the graduate to practice nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse . Two classes are enrolled each year beginning in either February or August.
