Program Description The Measurement and Statistics Master's degree at Florida State University is designed to prepare leaders in educational research to serve in the following types of professional positions: Educational measurement and/or educational statistics specialist for a test publisher or governmental licensing, certification, or assessment unit; Director of measurement activities for a school or school system; or Measurement and educational statistics expert for a regional educational laboratory. Program graduates are currently employed in a variety of locations including local school systems (Leon County schools), state government agencies and consulting firms. Many M.S. graduates are enrolled in the Measurement and Statistics doctoral program and other doctoral programs at Florida State University. A master's degree in Measurement and Statistics can also complement a higher degree in a related discipline such as Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, Educational Psychology , or Instructional Systems.
