Earn the last 30 upper-division credits in residence at FAU. Earn at least 50 percent of all upper-division courses in the major department from FAU. Fulfill the core curriculum or general education requirements as appropriate to the student's admission status. Summer Credit Requirement: earn a minimum of nine credits by attending one or more summer terms at FAU or another state of Florida institution. This requirement applies only to students admitted to FAU as freshmen or as transfer students with fewer than 60 credits. Credits earned through Advanced International Certificate in Education (AICE), AP, CLEP or IB program may be applied toward the nine credit summer requirement. Satisfy Gordon Rule requirements. Complete the College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST) with passing scores appropriate to the time the test is taken for the first time.
