OVERVIEW OF THE ART PROGRAM Fairmont State University Art Department offers three options for students seeking degrees in Art . The Studio Art degree provides for a concentration in a particular studio area. Art Education prepares students to teach art in public schools. Graphics/Fine Arts is the degree of choice for students wishing to incorporate art in the fields of communication and commerce. This two-plus-two program is a collaborative degree with the School of Technology.
