Evaluate, correlate, and assure accuracy, validity, and quality control of laboratory information. 3. Make specimen oriented decisions on predetermined criteria, including a working knowledge of critical values. 4. Assess, analyze, and make decisions related to clinical situations, information management, regulatory compliance, education, and quality assurance whenever laboratory testing is researched, developed or performed. 5. Demonstrate safe working habits and apply universal safety procedures in the handling of chemical, radiological, and biological materials and processes. 6. Demonstrate professionalism in regards to ethical and responsible behavior leading to the gaining and maintaining of the confidence of patients, professional associates , and the community. 7. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills with patients, coworkers, and physicians 8.
