Students will be able to operate a variety of K-12 systems for a variety of purposes. Students will be able to evaluate K-12 systems for acquisition. Students will understand policies, procedures, and mechanisms for managing computer/multimedia labs. Students will be able to operate a computer network. Students will understand policies, procedures, and mechanisms for managing computer networks and for Internet use. 6. Students will have a general understanding of K-12 software. Students will know a sizable collection of sources for educational software and evaluative information about educational software. Students will be capable of evaluating K-12 software for specific purposes. Students will understand the processes to install, maintain, and manage a library of software. Students will understand the legal and ethical issues in software acquisition and use. Students will understand the processes and concerns for information access and delivery. Students will know about available information tools and sources for their acquisition. Students will know about sources of information. 7. Students will understand the role of multimedia in information delivery. Students will understand the role of the Internet in information acquisition. Students will understand the educational roles of browsing, accessing, collecting, storing, indexing, analyzing, and publishing information using the Internet. 8.
