Spanish and Hispanic Studies from Earlham College is a Campus Bachelor Latin American Studies degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. Earlham's Spanish and Hispanic Studies Major offers a challenging combination of literature, language and cultural studies, both on campus and in our study centers abroad. Students have the opportunity to explore the rich diversity of the Hispanic world. Literature from the Caribbean and U.S. Latino literature and history, indigenous literature from Latin America, regional movements in Spain, Spanish linguistics, translation theory and practice, film, drama and dance are some of the areas one might choose to study. Faculty work closely with majors to design and accomplish each student's goals.
