Athletic Training - Denison University

Athletic Training from Denison University is a Campus Bachelor Physical Therapy degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. Through the athletic training curriculum students are challenged in the traditional classroom and expected to demonstrate their knowledge within practicum experiences. This combination of experiences afford the student ample opportunity to use their intellectual and physical abilities in a problem solving environment in which real patients benefit. Students are strongly encouraged to explore the athletic training major early by reviewing the requirements of the major with their academic advisor. Students are also encouraged to discuss the requirements with the Physical Education Chairperson prior to declaring athletic training as their major. Curriculum This option is for students that do not wish to pursue a career in athletic training. Students that choose to participate in this option are generally interested in pursuing graduate study in another health related field or a career within the athletic / fitness industry.
