Length of Program: 53 Weeks : 1,590 Clock Hours Approximate Total Cost of Program: $3,566.27 Enrollment Limitation: 20 Students The Child Care program will provide plenty of opportunities to develop the skills needed to help young children develop physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. Instruction includes the study of growth and development of children as well as how they learn and behave. There is plenty of first-hand experience at area child care facilities. This practical hands-on work leads to the ability to plan and carry out educational activities for children. A completed medical health form including a drug screen is required once you have been accepted for admission into the program. An Associate Degree is available through a cooperative effort between CRTI and East Arkansas Community College with completion of additional courses of instruction. To enter this program you must have the following: An application along with a high school transcript showing date of graduation or GED scores.
