The degree requires the completion of 64 hours of study with fifty-three hours coming from five academic divisions as illustrated below: Bible - 4 hours - Examples: Old and New Testament Survey; Marriage and the Home Humanities and Fine Arts - 21 hours - Examples include: Composition I and II; World Literature I and II; Music Appreciation Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Health - 13 hours - Examples include: Physical and Biological Sciences; College Algebra; Human Anatomy and Physiology; Concepts of Lifetime Fitness Social Sciences and Human Behavior - 12-15 hours - Examples include: U.S. History; Western Civilization; Psychology; Sociology Business and Technology - 3 hours - Macroeconomics can be substituted for either General Psychology or Introduction to Sociology The remaining 11 hours are selected by the student and can come from any combination of courses offered by the college for which he/she is qualified to take.
