Nursing from Corning Community College is a Campus Associate Registered Nurse degree that prepares you for a Nursing career. Upon completion of the program, graduates will function independently, identifying potential health problems, providing health teaching and counseling, giving restorative and supportive care, and executing prescribed nursing and medical regimes. Successful completion of this program enables graduates to take the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurse. Once students have been accepted at CCC, they will be accepted directly into the Nursing program and General Studies program. There are prerequisites that need to be completed before a student will be approved to register for Nursing I or, for Advanced Placement Students, Nursing II.
