We offer interaction and integration with diverse cultures on campus, in the cities and nearby farms. Our faculty have global and church experience and put intentional focus on team-oriented training for ministry. The academic aspect of pre-pastoral studies includes the minor in Confessional Lutheranism plus seminary-identified requirements, particularly in Hebrew and Greek. Any other minor plus general education requirements totaling 128 credit hours are required to earn your degree from Concordia. While pursuing academic work, pre-pastoral students engage in congregational work and a variety of campus activities ranging from Division II athletics to choir. Pre-pastoral and pre-deaconess students meet Tuesday evenings for AEX, "Friends in Christ", a meal and study or prayer time for all pre-seminary students and their friends.
