STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES - Graduates of the Philosophy program will have the opportunity to: Demonstrate knowledge of influential thinkers and arguments that have been advanced in the history of the Western intellectual tradition. Demonstrate knowledge of some of the most influential thinkers and arguments that have been advanced by contemporary thinkers. Demonstrate knowledge of some of the core concepts and vocabulary related to metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, aesthetics, and logic. Demonstrate an ability to think critically, such as the ability to identify inconsistencies in sets of claims, to identify the presumptions of claims, and to identify the implications of claims.
