Pharmacy Technician - Community College of Southern Nevada

Pharmacy Technician from Community College of Southern Nevada is a Campus Certificate Pharmacy degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. The Pharmacy Technician program provides education and training to prepare students to work in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting under the direction of a registered pharmacist. After successful completion of the program pre-requisites and admission into the program, the student will complete one semester of program coursework taught primarily on-line followed by a one semester practicum in one or more Las Vegas area clinical/retail settings. At the completion of the program, the student will be eligible for certification as a Pharmacy Technician by the Nevada State Board of Pharmacy and for employment in the pharmacy industry. A limited entry program. Students must attend a health programs orientation and meet with a health programs advisor for additional counseling on program requirements and coursework timelines.
