Students will emerge with an understanding of how computer systems execute programs, store information, and communicate especially in dealing with issues of performance, portability, and robustness. They will be able to program in the C++ programming language using good programming practices, efficient programming structures, and object oriented design. They will learn the specific programming skills necessary to work in the video game industry including object interactions, animations, and collisions.
