Spanish from College of the Siskiyous is a Campus Associate Language degree that prepares you for a Liberal Arts career. The Spanish major prepares a student to develop competency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing the Spanish language . The student is provided with the tools to develop competency. In addition to language skills, students study Spanish and Spanish-American culture, history, and literature . Analyze Latin American and Spanish cultures and compare practices and traditions with students' own culture. Adapt to new situations and cultural traditions in a Spanish speaking country.
