Students in this program will enroll in four nine-week (approximately) classes each worth seven units and six units of support classes. A student may enroll at any of the nine week starting points. The program consists of classroom instruction which deals with nomenclature, building materials, fasteners, building layout, roof framing, stair construction , rough and finish carpentry and cabinet design, construction and installation. The students will participate in the construction of an actual custom home which will provide them with real-world experience in the building trades/construction industry.
