Health Care Management from College of Saint Elizabeth is a Campus Master Health Administration degree that prepares you for a Healthcare career. The Master of Science in Health Care Management features an integrated curriculum combining a multidisciplinary core, advanced study in heath care management, and an elective component. A culminating experience will integrate and synthesize heath care management skills and competencies. Program Philosophy The challenges facing current health care providers and management seem to be overwhelming in today's chaotic environment. However, in recognizing the need for administrators/practitioners/ managers of new models of healthcare delivery in integrated healthcare systems, the School of Graduate and Continuing Studies has developed a more diverse and flexible program that provides a greater multidisciplinary understanding of the current challenges and opportunities. Program Goals The goals of the program are to prepare students to: demonstrate competency in knowledge and skills of effective health care service delivery; integrate behavioral, social, and cultural factors into health care management practices; develop critical and analytical strategies and techniques applicable to a changing health care environment; provide health care management leadership by combining ethical consideration, proactive decision making, and the application of current health care management theory.
