EDUC 724 - Teaching English as a Second Language II 3 credits In this course students examine and develop a variety of methods, approaches, techniques, and materials used in teaching listening, speaking, reading, and writing to speakers of other languages on the elementary, middle school, and high school levels. Prerequisite: EDUC 722 EDUC 726 - Assessment in English as a Second Language 3 credits This course includes an examination of procedures and instruments, standardized and informal, used in second language instruction programs.
