Upon completion, students are qualified to take the CADC exam to become an Illinois Certified Alcohol/Drug Counselor. No additional work experience is necessary. In order to be admitted to this option, students must first meet with the department chair. Up to 18 credit hours of prerequisite courses may be transferred from another institution with the permission of the Human Services department chair, upon submission and review of transcripts indicating successful completion.
