[CAN GEOL 6] Geology 10 Student Learning Objectives (SLO) At the end of this course you should be able to: Understand the principle of Uniformitarianism and be able to explain it. Define the three rock families and those minerals which constitute them in order to evaluate how their composition relates to earth processes Recognize the components of the rock record and formulate an interpretation. Describe and evaluate the cause and effect relationship between fundamental geologic processes and the resultant geologic features.
