Nursing Basic Licensure Track from Clayton State University is a Campus Bachelor Registered Nurse degree that prepares you for a Nursing career. Students holding baccalaureate or higher degrees in areas other than nursing may apply and be admitted to the basic licensure track . Applicants with a baccalaureate degree who are applying to the nursing program must complete all application materials and provide all supporting documents required under the regular competitive admission process. Although holding the baccalaureate or higher degree exempts students from certain requirements, it does not guarantee acceptance into the program. Students holding a baccalaureate degree are exempt from Areas A-E of the core curriculum and the Regents' testing requirement, (although Area E of the core curriculum is deemed to be satisfied, students under this option are still required to meet the legislative requirements established by the University System of Georgia.)
