The department is a base for a wide variety of funded research projects, serving both government and private interests. At the graduate level, the department offers programs of study leading to the degree of Master of Engineering(M.E.) in Electrical and Computer Engineering . Requirements for the Master of Engineering Degree A minimum of 30 credit hours, at least 20 of which must be earned in residence. Up to 21 credit hours of graduate coursework with an average grade of B or better, and two credit hours of seminar. At least 12 hours of the coursework should be done with the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Submission and presentation of a design project, worth up to seven credit hours.
