Supported internships focus on the delivery of clinical services, and assist you to develop a coherent theoretical and ethical framework for practice. A Canadian curriculum and the use of local teaching faculty assure that your program reflects a regional and provincial context. Graduates of the Counselling Psychology program have found employment in youth and family treatment agencies, employee assistance programs, school systems, health regions, substance abuse treatment facilities, private practice, services for persons with developmental disabilities, and many other settings. They have qualified as Registered Psychologists (Alberta), and Canadian Certified Counsellors (Canadian Counselling Association).
