Specific Requirements Required core courses (with a grade of B or better in each):CPTR 5400/430, 5600/440, 5550/460, and 5990/495. Completion of one course from each of the following areas (with at least a B average in the four courses): Theory: CPTR 5250/404 or 5200/409; Software Engineering: CPTR 5800/420,5850/424 or 5860/429; Database: CPTR5660/445, 5670/446, or 5680/447; Networks: CPTR 5510/461, 5750/464, 5760/469. Completion of twelve additional hours, selected from among any 5000-level CPTR courses. A maximum of nine credit hours of approved 4000-level CPTR courses may be applied toward the degree , provided a grade of B or better is earned in each. CPTR 4920/381 cannot be applied for the Master's degree.
