Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning from Charles A. Jones Skills and Business Education Center is a Campus Certificate Engineering General degree that prepares you for a Engineering career. The Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) 42 week program provides training in the installation of air-conditioning and heating equipment including refrigeration recovery. The student will gain the knowledge and technical skills necessary to install and repair equipment ranging in size from small units to large central heating and air-conditioning systems. Students will take and pass the International 608 and 609 Refrigerant Handling tests. Attend classes daily for 42 weeks, 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Participate in hands-on class room demonstrations of skill and knowledge Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion and Skills Sheet: Heating/Air Conditioning Installer and Service Technician . All teachers are credentialed by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
