Early College from Central Virginia Community College is a Campus Associate Management degree that prepares you for a Business career. The Early College Program provides opportunity for young men and women to leave high school with a diploma and an Associate in Arts and Science degree from CVCC at the same time. To simplify the process, CVCC is currently working with several Central Virginia area school districts to bring college accredited course work to the high schools, through on-line distance education, or by providing transportation to CVCC's Lynchburg Campus or one of several CVCC Centers. While the curriculum is designed as a two-year program to be undertaken during the fall and spring semesters it is quite flexible. Many early college students minimize their work load by reducing their semester credit hours to 12 and picking up 6 to 8 credit hours during the summer session.
